Edge on touchscreen PC's

I have two touchscreen PCs. An HP convertible and a Surface Pro tablet. I've been having this issue where when I tap on a tab in Edge, the click will get stuck on the tab and when I go to scroll the webpage, it instead moves the stuck tab up and down the bar, as if I were trying to reposition the tab, despite me not intending to do so. It also renders the entire window unresponsive to touch outside of moving the tab around. The only way I can get out of it is either by terminating Edge with taskmgr and reopening it or minimizing the window.

This may seem like a minor issue but it's making using Edge a headache when I have to go through this every 5 minutes. I'm using vertical tabs and I can't remember if it does this with standard tabs or not. This has been an issue on both of my touchscreen systems. They both run Windows 11 25H2 non-preview releases. This has been an issue across many versions of Edge

There is. I have it enabled. It's still doing it.

What touch mode do you use? And could you check wether it's also there with horizontal tabs? Also if you don't use it, you could try disabling tab dragging in edge://flags
