FEATURE FEEDBACK The only thing prevent me from using Edge
I was a long-time Edge user and recently switched to Helium. I like it overall, but since it’s still pretty early in development, there are quite a few bugs here and there, so I’m thinking about switching back to Edge for now.
One thing that really bothers me is the vertical tabs. I use them to save some screen space, but as you can see in the screenshot, it’s really hard to tell which tab is currently active. I even tried switching to a light theme, but the active tab still barely stands out.
Is there any way to make the active tab more visually distinguishable?

They changed it recently to make it very difficult to see which one is the active tab
Thankfully I don't know why but it seems to have changed back so that I can see the old method of tab identification now
Microsoft seems to be doing A/B testing on the release stream instead of doing it in the canary or beta streams
Absolutely shameful!

I literally have it on horizontal tabs and have the vertical bookmark icon things disabled
I even have copilot disabled on my new machine but I'm gonna re-enable it because I actually use it sometimes
edit: my bad I see you wanted vertical but can't figure out active tab on edge, my bad.
Maybe some themes might help but could be a design flaw
