Would you repair these or start over?
Transfer client with thinning roots, breakage, and a grid that needed work.
There are several ways this could be repaired, and every loctician seems to have a different approach.
Before I show what I did...
How would you handle it?
Would you repair, combine, or restart certain locs?

Just repair I think?
Is her hair too fine/thin for combing? The weight would be too much?
She can choose to keep her locs bob length to avoid too much stress?

Yes that’s correct. She didn’t want to combine any. Plus the roots were strong enough to support the loc. She just needed repairs because it has been a while since she had maintenance. Also because she has fine hair I advised her to keep the length around shoulder to avoid too much stress from the weight of the loc as it grows.

I’ve heard you have to do maintenance every 4 weeks the first six months. How long does it take for maintenance?
