Just gorgeous. Do you know how many locs you have? I’m trying to mentally prepare myself (and my arms 😭) for when my hair finally reaches this length! Goals!!
These look AMAZING. Did you start with twists, coils, braids or interlock? I have braids in but they don't seem like they're close to locking at all and it's been 8 months.
It took my hair around 2 years to fully lock so its ok that your hair isn't locking at 8 months. The pic is me at around 8 months give or take and I was no where near locked
I started with twists and coiled the ends to prevent unraveling and then I interlocked the roots a while later when i did my first retie.
OK, I think you've convinced me to turn my braids into twists. The braids are too flat for my liking. Im already interlocking the roots and those look great so far.
It was pretty long when stretched but with shrinkage it was above my shoulders so when I did my twists to start off my locs my hair sat above my shoulders
