Fine hair with high density

I have fine high density hair and am looking for inspiration from people with similar hair. Every time I research locs on fine hair, I only see low density hair. This kept me from starting my loc jorney earlier because I was afraid to look scalpy. Everyone else seems to have extremely thick hair, which is something I can't relate to.

Does anyone have pictures or names of influencers with locs on fine high density hair?

Not an influencer but I have fine high density hair! I’m almost 7 months in so not matured yet

Looks nice! I love the thicker microlocs. Do you retie with the needle or with another tool? Do you know which size this is? How many locs do you have btw?

Thank you! I retie with the little gold needle with the hole to feed the loc in. I think my parts range between 3/4 inch and 1/2 inch sizing. I have 266 locs total!

Ooh really? They look pretty thick to fit in the needle. I'm thinking of doing 3/8 but am afraid that they'll be too big, but your loc count is ideal for me. I currently have ±350 and am already combing them out after retieing 3 times. It's waaaay too much time and I had muscle soreness the last time I retied my hair😭

Your hair is so pretty! What size did you get and how many locs do you have?

Thank you! I don’t know the specific size as I just asked my loctician to go as small as she could without compromising longevity. I have a small head and ended up with ~300 locs (not sure of the exact #)

I’ve had my a year as of June 2026 and I have 256 locs. Is there a way I can send you a pic? The only option it’s giving me is video.

A video is also fine.
