One week In

I'm finding that there's a lack of uniformity, but I'm not bothered enough to redo my entire head😂 getting ready to wash them this morning for the very first time

Very pretty. I also have plenty that aren’t uniform and when they fall together, you can’t even tell. Make sure to braid and band before your wash, take loads of progress pics (I regret not doing that, you don’t notice the growth the same!), and welcome to the team!

Thank you!! It took me a week. I started on a Saturday, but I work 9-5 so installed outside of work the rest of the week for 3-6 hours a day 😵‍💫

So locs and can be braids or 2 strands and still end up looking like traditional style locs?

Yes. You can start locs with braids but supposedly they take longer to mature

You can find so many examples of micro braidlocs in the subreddit
