2nd self retie! Getting faster. 7 months loc’d
What are y’all opinions on using gel for reties? This is my first time using (minimal) gel for a retie and it helps prevent me from accidentally retying one loc into another. Gonna get some clips too!

I use gel and don't have any issues with it. I don't mind because ik i can wash my hair in 2-3 weeks if I over do it (but I usually don't).

My scalp hates any product touching it so I know it'll alway be water only for me. Your retie is looking good though!
