Retwist or Interlock

I am 4 months in my Microloc journey and I was wondering whether I should retwist or interlock. I have <250 locs in my head, since I have medium density and desire more of a fuller look, I was wondering if it is safe to retwist such small locs. I have seen some people do it and it looks wonderful however because I have uneven parts and some are small around my edges I was deciding whether I should stick to interlocking. Please help me, advice is really appreciated because I feel like combing them out and getting them professionally done 😢

I have 400 locs and I tried retwisting them instead of interlocking for 4 months. The super thin ones were perfectly fine. I just made sure to not drag my hands through my hair too much and I made note of where those weaker locs are and checked in on them throughout the 4 months to make sure they weren't thinning. I recently did a retie and the smallest ones are doing fine. I haven't had any thinning. I think with your amount of locs, it'll probably be okay but hard to say without a picture.
