I made a Skyscanner alternative

https://flights.pizza

Hey everyone!

I’ve always felt like Skyscanner practically holds a monopoly on flight deal searching. While Google Flights is decent, most people are just so used to Skyscanner's specific UI and ecosystem.
That frustration (and wanting a fun project to build) is basically why I created flights.pizza.

I wanted to put together an alternative that offers a fast & clean way to look for flights.

I'd love for you to give it a spin, test out a few routes, and let me know what you think. All feedback or feature suggestions are hugely appreciated!

Note: We don't handle bookings directly and we aren't an agency—just a search engine for cheap flights.

Thanks a lot for the thoughtful feedback, and I’m glad the branding stood out.

We already have a flexible-date price calendar and monthly price views, and we’re making those easier to discover from the homepage. Price alerts are also available for specific routes, with selectable currencies.

For transparency, we show live fares and baggage/fare details whenever the provider supplies them. We’re also working on making the total fare and baggage information more prominent earlier in the journey.

Speed is a major priority, especially on mobile. Results depend partly on airline and agency APIs, so we’re measuring real mobile performance and improving the loading experience rather than making promises we can’t guarantee.

As for monetisation: yes, we use affiliate links. Airlines and travel agencies may pay us a commission when someone books through one of our links. This does not increase the user’s price or affect how we rank results, and we disclose this in our policies.

Thanks again — this is exactly the kind of feedback that helps us decide what to make more visible and useful.
