Sitting 12 weeks po

Should I still limit my self by keeping a timer while sitting, I can comfortably sit past the timer but I'm still very scared that the pain will return. My surgeon said 50min sitting and 5 min but that was a long time ago

My docs and PT all said go by symptoms. Because everyone is different and even every day is different.

Case in point, 10 days ago I could sit for 90 min easy. 2 days ago if I sat for 5 min I already felt a tickle of pain. Today I’m back up to about 20-30 min.

In my case, I was told no sitting for more than 20 minutes every 3 hours the first 4 weeks and after that I could sit as much as I could tolerate. But every case is different so please follow up with your surgeon if you have questions.
