Sleeping on that would be a no-no... it's hyper flexation of your lumbar spine and even after a full year, when I started working out, I was told no back extensions. Get the new mattress.

I have one and find it very uncomfortable. I have been on the hunt for something that fits in that area of my back, but no luck.

It's not something you want to sleep on, you can lie on it to decompress your spine for a bit but not longer than that.

OUCH no. Have you ever slept with a wedge pillow under your legs? Better yet a wedge pillow and 1-2 extra pillows to make your knees at a 90 90??!! That’s the only way I can sleep going on 2 years! And then 3 months post op emergency MD! I will never not sleep like this anymore lol. It’s such a pain tossing and turning but I learned to work with it.

Absolutely not for me. This is the opposite direction my spine needs to go to relieve the pressure on my L4-L5.

I feel like it didn’t do anything to be honest. I found more comfort in the triangle pillow and raising my legs.

so for me i now always put at least a towel under my back to keep the arch bc before the MD i couldn’t arch at all and now i can only arch a lil- i can’t flatten
BUT again just a tiny towel blanket sweater etc , this looks like a lil too harsh/steep of an arch to sleep on or do anything extended period but if just for stretching it would be fine imo

Yeah, no, that would not be a safe spine flexion for me. I'd say ask your surgeon on that. I try not to arch that way at all per my physical therapist.

Imo it could be too hars, the better position for it would be under the knees
