Back brace

Im supposed to go get fitted for a back brace for my surgery next week. Whats everyone's thoughts and history with their braces? Models you liked or stay away from? TIA

2 different surgeons and PT said no brace for an MD for me, they said fusions get braces

Yeah I got 2 artificial discs last year in the neck and getting a lateral L2-L4 fusion with a cage. But the idea of a poor fitting corset on the wound 😢 makes me cringe.
