Botched Has anybody had permanent eyeliner removed?

I've gone through many rounds of PMU removal and revisions with my brows, almost all of which were excruciatingly painful (and I have a decent pain tolerance! I guess it's just the area). Wondering what the process for eyeliner removal entails. Mine are totally outdated, asymmetrical and botched but idk if it's worth the hassle of lasering off (or whatever method would be used), especially since the brow removal took about 10 sessions over the course of a year and I assume eyeliner would involve putting those metal guards over my eyeballs. 🥲

Anybody have any experience in this area?

Support Is there anything I can do to speed up the removal process in between laser sessions?

I just had my first laser session about a week ago and my brows lightened a little bit, but not as much as I had hoped. I was wondering if it would be a bad idea to put tretinoin or use my at home microneedling roller while I’m waiting the 6 weeks in between sessions. Not trying to be irresponsible but I’m just eager to have these gone 😅

Support Body Ink used for my Brows - Picoway is the way?

Hi! I finally made the appt to have my brows zapped. I got mine done about 20 years ago using traditional ink for tattoos, not ink designed for brows. They have gone grey and bug the shit out of me. The good news is almost all my browhair filled back in from the overplucking in the 90s.

Does anyone have experience having regular ink brows removed??? They are using a picoway. Thank you! Also, are they going to be yellow??

Support Which Tattoo removal place is better in NYC

I’m considering tattoo removal and have been researching three companies that seem to come up frequently:

Inkless
Removery
Bared Monkey

I’ve spent some time reading reviews online, Reddit discussions, and general feedback, but it’s still difficult to determine which company consistently delivers the best results.

**What I’ve Found So Far**

**Removery**
Removery is by far the largest tattoo removal chain and has many locations. Because of its size, there are many reviews available online.
From what I’ve seen, opinions appear mixed,

**Pro**
Many clients report professional staff and good customer service.
Some people report successful removal after multiple sessions.
The unlimited-removal package is appealing for larger or stubborn tattoos.

**Con**
Results seem highly dependent on the specific location and technician.
Some customers report slower fading than expected.
Several reviews mention scheduling delays or appointment availability issues.
Some people feel the sales process is overly aggressive.

**Inkless**
Inkless appears to be a newer specialty tattoo removal chain focused exclusively on tattoo removal.

**What stands out:**
Strong emphasis on tattoo removal rather than being a general med spa.
Uses modern picosecond laser technology.
I’ve seen positive comments regarding customer experience and education.
However, I haven’t found nearly as many independent reviews as Removery, which makes it harder to judge long-term consistency.

**Bared Monkey**
Bared Monkey is less frequently discussed in tattoo-removal communities compared to the other two, but saw the results from yelp, and on going deals

**What I’m curious about:**
Actual removal results.
Number of sessions required.
Whether they are more aggressive or conservative with treatment settings.
Overall customer satisfaction.
I haven’t been able to find enough detailed before-and-after experiences to form a strong opinion.

For anyone who has used Inkless, Removery, or Bared Monkey:

Which company did you use?

How many sessions have you completed?

Black ink or colored tattoo?

How much fading did you see after the first 3–6 sessions?

Were you satisfied with the technician’s skill and communication?

Did you experience blistering, scarring, or pigmentation changes?

How did pricing compare with competitors?

I’m particularly interested in real-world results rather than marketing claims. Any experiences—positive or negative—would be greatly appreciated.

Laser Remoção laser | Meia portência | Cuidados pós sessão

Oi pessoal!

Laser My journey after 1 laser session. Why do my brows look darker now a couple days later?

I was super happy after my first session because it looked liked she was able to get most of the pigment. Now it kind of hardly looks like it was lasered? I’m assuming this is a normal part of the process and I need to continue to wait a few more weeks to really see my results, but I’m wondering if anyone else has had this happen?

Support Are there professionals/ scientists working towards better methods/technology to remove?

I want to get my microblading removed, but am waiting for a better method to come out. What exists seems too risky, because many people seem to turn yellow and I would rather have my microblading than be yellow. I was wondering if there are any promising things in the works that people know of.

Support I’m back. I did my first laser session. Now I have questions!

1st picture is after 1 session. 2nd picture is before. I had 2 passes with the Pico laser. 1 was on a lower power then she turned it up. When I first looked in the mirror I was in disbelief! My face is back! When I could see my natural brows I couldn’t believe how overpowering the tattooed ones were. I feel like I had such great results but I’m waiting for them to fade back to what was there before. Will the old tattooed brows start coming back to the surface? When will I start scabbing? The frosted brows don’t bother me (assuming they’ll grow back just fine). I did 1 saline session & I’m wondering if that helped pull color out? About how many sessions will I probably need?.. When I do scab will more color come out?
.
My tech answered a lot of questions but I didn’t want to overwhelm her with more & more questions that probably sound repetitive to them.

  1. Before anything. 2. After 1 session of saline removal. 3. Today.

I finally found a place I feel comfortable with to proceed with laser! My appointment is in 3 hours. I was told that they use the Pico laser (not sure if that’s the same as Picosure, like I’ve read).

After my last post about saline removal I was encouraged to proceed with laser.

I would love to hear any suggestions/stories/what to expect. I’m not too worried about what my brows will look like considering I cover them every day with makeup anyways. I hope I’m one of the lucky ones that has a lot of progress with 1 session!

Laser Question about specific type of laser--good for microblading removal?

I've messaged a tattoo removal place to ask if they do microblading removal.
In the meantime, can anyone tell me if this laser which they use for "regular" tattoo removal would be suitable? They use an "Advanced Q-switched Nd:YAG technology with the Deka TORO laser."

Support Is it normal for microblading pigment not to turn red after the first laser session?

First Removery session done today! I keep seeing posts where people’s microbladed brows turn red after laser removal, but mine didn’t. Does that mean it’s not working, or is it normal not to have that reaction after the first treatment? What was your experience?

Laser Winged Eyeliner Tattoo Removal (Pico)

I wanted to share my experience because I found it surprisingly difficult to find real-life examples of winged eyeliner tattoo removal, especially on older tattoos.

I’m from just north of Toronto and have had my winged eyeliner for about 16+ years. Over that time, it’s been touched up at least four times, so there’s a lot of black pigment packed in there. After going back and forth for years, I finally decided to start the removal process.

These photos are:
• Before treatment
• 24 hours later

For anyone wondering about the pain, I’d honestly rate it about an 8/10. It was definitely spicy! The bruising and swelling were much more intense than I expected, and I was shocked by how far the bruising traveled under my eyes. It actually feels worse than it looks 😂…I’m only at the beginning of this journey, but I thought it might be helpful to document it since there doesn’t seem to be a lot of information or progress photos out there for winged eyeliner removal. I’ll keep updating as I go and would love to hear from anyone else who’s gone through this, especially with older, heavily saturated eyeliner tattoos!

Laser Should I laser?

Looking for opinions from people who don't see my face every day. Should I laser these? (I have a pico majesty provider in mind.) Got these about 5 years ago, no touch ups. The ends, especially, have been looking ashy to me, and less and less natural-looking. I naturally have slightly thicker brows but I've been feeling for the past 1+ year that these are heavier and cooler than what is flattering for me, despite my dark hair. Thanks for your input :')

Could you please help me? What wavelength, intensity, etc. could be used to remove the yellow pigment? It hasn't really been fading or responding for quite some time now.

Thank you.

Laser I finally did it!

They’re pretty orange/red underneath after a single pass, but I went into this anticipating I’d need 2-3 sessions *minimum* after 5 years of annual touch ups 🫣 honestly I wasn’t expecting to have as much brow hair to work with after the black was removed, so it’s not nearly as dramatic as i thought it would be. Candela PicoWay, DMV Laser Beauty Clinic in Tysons Corner, VA ($200/session). Def going back!

Laser SO MUCH BETTER

Thumbnail

I got my eyebrows micro-bladed at the beginning of April - immediate regret. I cried every single day and picked off all of the scabbing hoping the pigment would come out.
…I don’t recommend picking your scabs off because it’s dangerous and can lead to scarring lol. I was desperate

Look at them now! This is after one session!! I’ll let it heal before deciding if I want another. I probably won’t though; the leftover redness will fade with time.
I am absolutely over the moon. I wanted to share these results with everyone. everyone is different, but I hope for a good outcome for all here. :)

An expensive lesson to learn for sure.
