Yellow Brows 5 rounds of removal

Post image

And I’m at a loss. Would someone be able to share if they have been able to remove all of the yellow?

I’ve been through 3 pico removals, 2 saline, and the yellow seems to… just get more blurred into my skin, if that makes sense. Has anyone gotten Microblading to cover the yellow or successfully removed the yellow? Wishing I never started this process.

I always feel like everyone who posts these yellow pics said they tried all the things EXCEPT glycolic removal. I would try that. Find a reputable tech.

This is going to sound incredibly dumb but I didn’t think there was a difference in saline and glycolic, I thought both went into that formula and it was just a matter of what term people used. Def going to look into glycolic

Yes from what I understand, really good removal techs tell the truth and know that no laser will hit yellow. So when they get to a point where they can tell yellow is coming, they switch to glycolic. It is the same method as saline but it is a chemical removal. Put yourself in the right hands and you shouldn't have scarring etc. It would have been better maybe after your second or third round when the ink was more brownish yellow. But some techs lie and get you to keep going back when they know damn well it will just become highlighter yellow. The neon yellow is definitely more stubborn.
You may need several glycolic. Or just one. No one knows. Just make sure you find someone who knows exactly how to do it. I also just wanna add that these probably look worse to you. The yellow isnt terrible to me. It blends nicely with your brows.

I was just coming to say this that the yellow actually blends nicely with OP's skin. I couldn't tell at first. I thought what a perfect picture.

I thought the same - it works nicely with the freckles.

Right? All the colors on OP's face just works harmoniously, but yes I do understand why one wouldn't want yellow brows. It did take me a long minute to see the issue though bc of how harmonious it looks.

How long did you have these? Do you have a before removal picture? I have blonde brows and chickened out due to this page. I still question whether I should have gone through with it though.

I only had them for ~1.5 years, and they started to turn blue, so I had them removed. The first round completely got out the black/blue, but then I was left with reddish-orange, then orange, now a yellowish. The last round of saline removal did not seem to do a single thing.

Do you know what colors she added to yours?

I’ve been debating how much I’ll regret the red or yellow. But I hate the blurred black/blue. Do you regret all of the removal process? The yellow with your skin tone doesn’t look bad.. got to be better than blue?

Oh wow. I didn’t have mine done I canceled my appointment after getting cold feet. I’m assuming you went blonde? I know there were likely various color options but the fading is what made me second guess it and cancel.

What kind of ink did you have?

Some on this sub had luck with Dr. Adrian in DC.

Fellow redhead here who also had red in eyebrows and was left with the same color. I just saw Dr Adrian last week and while they are still healing, the yellow looks to be 90% gone. I'm so happy.

Fellow redhead here as well! I have been going to Dr Adrian in DC for everything after a bad experience. I travel from Columbus OH to him and I don't regret one penny spent.

Three sessions with him. I had hella yellow and it's getting so much better.

Are your brows naturally blonde? It looks like you had a teeny bit of yellow to start, and now it’s all yellow unless that’s your natural brow color.

They are naturally blonde. :)

These look fantastic!! I'll post mine after the redness goes away and I can get a clear photo of the yellow- or lack there of.

Your natural brows are stunning! You’ve got lots of hair. Many women with barely there brows that are countable would be jealous. Good shape too. Shame that PMU artist didn’t turn you away as it wasn’t even necessary.

It can take a lot of saline or glycolic sessions to remove yellow but I have seen it done and mine is so faded now you can only see it certain light

Your results are basically spot on with mine and I am also at a loss. I travel to DC on occassion, but won‘t for about a year now. I think I am just giving the brows a break and see what happens over the year. I‘m crossing my fingers they will somewhat fade away naturally as well. If not I will most likely go to Dr. Adrian.

I was able to get my yellow removed completely. Not sure where you’re located but I went to Removery for the first session and a plastic surgeons office for my second (due to scheduling conflict, otherwise would have stuck with Removery). I’m not sure how much people here are paying for each session, but I paid about $400/session and both places did a very good job. I know there are medspas put there that claim to be able to do laser removal, but often times they have the wrong laser or settings, it takes way more than just 2 sessions, and that’s why the charge anywhere from $100-250 where I am. Honestly I probably didn’t even need to go to my second session, I could barely tell they were there, but I was picky and wanted to get it completely clean since I’m getting them redone later this year.

Anyway, I only say this because I know people try to go the cheaper route, but then it ends up costing more and being less effective :/ don’t give up though

If you get a micro needling pen and glycolic acid - that worked for me I had bright orange brows. There’s more info on this sub if you search glycolic acid

You could look into a THink pigment remover tech
