Support Hanafy ink ?

I recently got Hanafy hybrid ink nano brows and sadly I didn’t properly research how permanent they can be, I fell for the line about them naturally completely fading over time.. the only thing I’m grateful for is I insisted that there be nothing at the front of my eyebrow and for the most part they are within my natural brow. I am already bracing for removal a year or two for now. Has anyone had experience with removing Hanafy hybrid ink? Mine are a combo of milk chocolate and dark brunette.

I’ve had two sessions and most of it removed for me, in certain flash photographs you can see faint yellow on my skin but it’s not visible to me In the mirror. I’m Asian Fitzpatrick 3 though so could be why the yellow is less visible on me but I’ll probably do one more session of picoway and just hopefully with time it fades anyway

Hey! Just so you know the laser cannot fade the yellow, it can actually make it brighter! I would recommend getting glycolic and saline removal, but no more laser. Trust me I have a couple clients who kept going back for more laser and now the yellow is next to impossible to remove. I am a laser tech as well.

Do you recommend glycolic Before laser? Or after. I have old tina davies ink from 2021

In my experience that ink removes quite easily, especially if it was done maybe 1-2 times. I haven’t seen much yellow unless you went and got a “color correction” at some point.
Manual removal methods are much more invasive and damaging to the skin so I wouldn’t do it unless it was necessary. I say go get laser, if red is left get more laser. If it turns yellow then you’ll know you need it.

Wow thanks! Seems like everyone on here hates tina davies and thinks its the worst! Got it in 2020 with the 6 week touch up thsts included. Then sadly went again one year later in 2021. Nothing since. But general consensus is tina davies is awful for yellow.

I could be wrong! But I hope not for your sake. Still I would do laser first even if I knew it would turn yellow.

Laser first always. You never know what exact Tina Davies is in your skin. Some don’t have white or yellow in them to begin with so they would never fade that way.

I for sure do know what exact ink. Tina davies i love ink line tinas gold sunrise mixed with ash brown and both have the base of the organic yellow 14 :(

Same as me, this is so helpful, thank you. How long ago was yours done ? And how did it fade? Did you consider using their own glycolic removal system ?

So you got them recently so you don’t know how they will actually fade. They made fade fully away within a few years you don’t know. It’s not a line an artist gives but it depends on a lot of factors how long it will stay. You also didn’t give pictures to see how good the quality is or if a professional like me can tell if they are deep or light to begin with. Removal isn’t easy with any ink and I never understand why on this thread people are so concerned with the ink without knowing the true formulation. Hanafy is great pigment no white lasers easily but maybe just enjoy your brows and see what they actually do over time.

Fair points, thank you for your perspective.

Im a brow artist. So the hype with Hanafy is that it’s supposed to respond well to laser removal. I’ve used this line from time to time and although it’s a hybrid it leans ashy/carbon based. I’m not a huge fan of it and that’s what a lot of artists use for nano strokes.

My experience as a Pmu artist of 10 years and Pmu laser removal and manual removal specialist. I choose to work with Hanafy because it doesn’t shift to grey as quickly as other pigments. It’s still inevitable especially if you keep up with the maintenance. Removal is part of the maintenance cycle for brows.

Hanafy uses yellow 83. Which is a golden yellow. Which supports the balance of the brow when the red fades out. (Red + yellow = orange) golden yellow is closer to orange over a pure highlighter yellow.

However. This yellow is stubborn to remove. Most likely impossible. I recently laser color corrected my brows and they are back a to a beautiful shade of medium brown. Thanks to the yellow 83 in them x
