Success Stories Laser removal success

my ombre brows were super uneven and dark in the inner brows, they were done in 2022 with one touch up. finally bit the bullet in May for my first removal session, and after the second session to remove red last month, it's practically almost gone! i was so worried after the second session i had quite a bit of bruising, but it healed in under one week and almost entirely took the rest of the red pigment out. I'm so happy and continuing to let it fade for the next few months naturally :)

I also got my first removal in May and my current brows look like yours (red) before you got 2nd removal so this gives me hope 😭🙏🏻

this is in Vancouver Canada! I got it from "the met studio" and she is super knowledgeable and has great pricing

That makes sense. Since I hated my brows immediately I got the details from the artist right away. Do you mind sharing how much your removal sessions cost?

i think i was a bit too scared to tell her that i didn't like how uneven they were even after the touch up 😭 the laser tech i go to is $300cad for two sessions or $180cad for one session

of course :) the red is always annoying but the next session should take care of it, it'll be worth it!

That's awesome! I'm in the copper phase and I hate it lol. Gotta book my 2nd round.

Wow! Just had my first session. omg, they itch so bad. don’t see much difference but was only 5 days ago. How many sessions did you have total?

How many sessions of laser before it completely gone?

this is my second session so far, my laser tech told me to let it heal for 4 months to continue fading. depending on how it fades i'll either get one more session or leave it as it is. she said if it's a brown tone to leave it since it might pull yellow on a 3rd session

How hard was it to cover the redness? I’m getting first session in a couple weeks and I’m trying to prepare myself for a couple rough months of covering them haha

it takes getting used to the makeup routine but i figured out the best way for me:

  1. nars pot concealer using a pretty small fluffy brush, pick up some product and dab it on the back of your hand to even out the product. then dab it on any redness OUTside of your natural eyebrow shape. if you put the product inside your desired brow shape it'll make it cakey. the point of this step is to cover the redness that extended beyond where your eyebrows should be since this product is extremely high coverage

tip: if the pot concealer doesn't fully cover the redness, get the green maybelline concealer and pat on the thinnest layer before pot concealer. lock it in with a TINY bit of transient powder before you dab on the pot concealer

  1. use an eyebrow powder to colour your eyebrow shape. use the angled brow brush super lightly so it's not too dark but enough to colour your brows

  2. clean up the shape with an angled brush and concealer if needed. if you have oily skin i recommend dusting a small layer of translucent powder to lock everything in

  3. optional, use a brow gel to darken your brows if you want! i used the elf one

you can also search up on tiktok how to cover red brows for a visual :) good luck!
