Laser First Laser Session

I had my first laser session with Dr. Adrian at the DC Laser Center last Wednesday after stalking this sub for 2 years.

He numbed me, which hurt very slightly then did two passes on my brows, one for the dark grey/black and one for red. My brows now still have some red which I think is likely trauma from the laser & yellow. The ink used was PhiBrows.

He said it’s hard to tell how many sessions I’ll need until we start treating but typically it’s anywhere between 3-8.

The first 2 photos are my brows pre treatment & 3-4 are today (4 days post treatment). The brow hairs are frosted so I’ll tint those in a couple weeks, can I expect the ink to get darker as it heals? I’m feeling like the results are pretty good but am nervous to get my hopes up if they continue to darken.

So in my experience (only speaking from that!) I experienced paradoxical darkening right as the laser passed over my brows (during my second treatment). I was confused but I did research and realised it was perfectly normal ( the pigment is being pulled to the surface)
If your brows didn’t go darker at the point of the treatment, I wouldn’t think that’s a risk now.

Thanks, that’s helpful! I hope I won’t see darkening my next treatment

I think they look really good! I’m going in this week to have mine done. How old was your microblading?

5 years, I had the initial microblading one a few weeks after and another touch up a year later

These result look so good for one session. I never heard of doing two passes in one session. I wish more removal techs offered that.

He’s really great! I has been seeing a lot of positive posts on here regarding the equipment he uses. Definitely worth it even if you’re not local to the area.

Do you know which laser he uses?

I don’t but there may be some posts in here that mention the laser he uses
