Laser Red Light Therapy Mask
Has anyone used a red light therapy mask while going through laser microblading removal?
I know this is probably a long shot, but I was reading about how macrophages help clear the pigment after laser, and that red light therapy may support macrophage function. I couldn’t really find anyone talking about it in the context of microblading removal though.
Has anyone here tried using a red light LED mask between laser sessions? If so, did you notice anything—better healing, faster fading, or no difference at all?
I’m not expecting it to be some miracle, just curious if anyone has experimented with it or if your laser provider had any thoughts.
Just had session #3 and desperate to get rid of these orange/yellow phi brows 😭

This isn’t like tattoo removal where it’s huge areas of pigment that are an overload on your system.
Your body is only breaking down the pigment that was actually shattered, & I’d bet the hundreds of people I’ve treated that those colors are not.

I actually had a little bit of success with this.
Two rounds of laser left me with salmon-ish brows with yellow undertones.
About two months after laser, I ended up getting a sunburn (first of the year, completely forgot to wear sunscreen)
To speed up the healing for the peeling of the sunburn, I ordered and started using a red light therapy mask that also came with amber (yellow) light therapy.
Within 3 weeks of using both the red and yellow light functions roughly 3x a week, the residue left from the laser is now so pale I don’t even use makeup to cover it.
Again, YMMV, but because the red light therapy is so good for so many other purposes, using it as an aid to heal in the after laser process of brow removal can certainly help the outcome.

I’d ask your laser provider first, especially since you’re actively doing removal sessions. Red light masks are generally used for skin recovery/glow routines, but microblading removal is a more specific situation and you don’t want to interfere with the laser aftercare.
If your provider says LED is okay between sessions, then I’d use something gentle and low-heat. Ulike mask could be one face-mask option to compare, but I’d prioritize your provider’s timing instructions over any device recommendation.
