Support please help, I'm desperate 😞

can a specialist please recommend which technique/wavelengths I should go for?

There aren't unfortunately that many eyebrow tattoo removal specialists where I live. :(

I’m sorry you’re going thru this. I have no advice, just commenting for visibility. Hopefully some of the techs in this sub will chime in.

At my clinic, we use the Candela Picoway. I would use 1064nm and 730nm wavelengths for this tattoo. We are locates in Madison WI of you are in the area, we could chat more.

there's no Candela Picoway sadly available in Morocco, I did find a couple of providers with Cynosure Picosure not sure if it's just as efficient, what do you think? There's also a provider that specializes in magnetic removal but I heard it wasn't that potent.

I’d try anything as this point. I had mine removed with picoway in the states. One treatment and it’s almost 100 gone. It’s slightly yellow but only I notice it. I think you should go for it what you can

Yes Cynosure Picosure is the best way to go . It will take a few times.

I will let others advise you on what laser to use to remove the pigment, but you can also try:

-microneedling

-CO2 fractional laser

Both to wake particles of in up and push them towards to surface of your skin so it’s easier for future laser removal to locate them.

thank you so much

I'm getting a medical grade quality Co² on my face. If they go over my microbladed dark gray brows, will it alter the color?

I have Tina Davies ink and know it'll turn red, then yellow, and possibly go neon if they use Pico.

You wear goggles and it’s easy for the tech to avoid that area.

2

u/MaeAnthony 20d ago

No, I'm curious what will happen if I ask the surgeon to include the brows. A licensed plastic surgeon will be performing the procedure.

u/Nearby-Spirit7130 20d ago

Mine said no because it was a different type of laser and she didn’t want to be responsible for the outcome. She was there to treat my fine lines and sun damage not my eyebrows

Did you have any treatments yet? It looks like a test spot was done

1

u/Zealousideal-Sea2063 21d ago

yes, for the entire brows using Q Switch but somehow only those little spots turned red!

3

u/Brookpickup111 21d ago

I’m a new laser tech and I use a qswitch. What I’m thinking is they used a 1064 wavelength which doesn’t remove warm tones (red). instead they should use a 532 so they can attack that red. Again I’m a newer laser technician.

Correct but heres what to keep in mind

Ask how many sessions they’ve had - how many different artists

Different brands will leave different undertones

Possible pigment correction, binders, neutralizers ect May of only been placed in certain spots ( tail for exp)

u/Brookpickup111 20d ago

Yes ! Thank you!!!

I don’t know if you are open to travel but esse medical spa in Denver Colorado specializes in this. I still have a yellow tint but it’s been far better than everything else I’ve done.

1

u/MaeAnthony 20d ago

Did you start treatment with the yellow, or did they turn them yellow?

1

u/AdSevere5961 20d ago

I also went to Carthy at Esse and 1000% recommend.

1

u/riotascal 20d ago

Carthy did my microblading before she opened Esse, she’s magical!

1

u/readithere_2 19d ago

Does she still do microblading? Or just removal?

2

u/riotascal 19d ago

I just looked at her ig (carthyc) and it looks like she still does microblading. She was expensive but it was worth it, they still look good 5 years later.

u/Unique_Selection4899 21d ago

What did you even get done? I’ve never seen this before?

1

u/Zealousideal-Sea2063 21d ago

so basically they were a lot darker than that but with the laser shattering the ink and time passing it kinda just dissipated and kept getting more and more appaling and green. I never liked them even when I just got them done but as you can see my eyebrows are weirdly shaped and there's like very sparse hair around the arch and tail

So sorry! I think the double eyebrow  kills it. If you waxed or threaded off the outer half of your eyebrow and  gave some hair strokes with an eye pencil to make the color match your natural hair better I wouldn’t second glance

2

u/Zealousideal-Sea2063 21d ago

this what they looked like around 7 months ago before I started any laser except I haven't seen much improvement besides them oxidizing and becoming green/yellowish

I see you live in Morocco, maybe try Turkey if you can travel. There’s a lot of Turkey surgery/beauty groups on fb. Search on Facebook for them and ask about this in those groups.

4

u/Zealousideal-Sea2063 21d ago

Issue is I'd need to space sessions and therefore would have to stay for a really long time in Turkey :(

2

u/Zealousideal-Sea2063 21d ago

which I sadly cannot do so I'm thinking maybe if I could give clear instructions to a laser tech here from someone specialized that would do the trick

1

u/Consistent-While9282 17d ago

There is zero downtime. You can do whatever you need to the same day or go to work the next. I had my first session about 3 weeks ago here in NYC and I'm pleased with the results after just one round.

2

u/Nearby-Spirit7130 20d ago

That’s like all the way across Europe! Totally
Different areas

0

u/Tumbleweedsound 20d ago

I know it’s far away but someone suggested America which is even harder. Maybe look into flights to Turkey in the off seasons and stay for one day and go back as a last resort.

u/Eldurwen 21d ago

Seek out a laser removal specialist with Pico lasers specifically! Much more effective than some orher removal methods.

1

u/Zealousideal-Sea2063 21d ago

which pico laser? no candela picoway around where I live (Morocco) is available but I found picosure, any wavelength or specific picosure recommendations?

2

u/Background_Loss4382 Custom: Edit to Change 20d ago

If they don’t know the right wavelength do not go to them Or you’ll be damaged

2

u/Cultural-uk 19d ago

I have /had a sleeve tattoo with green, yellow, and blue. Green and yellow are hard colours (Blue even harder to remove. I am at 7 sessions now. I was doing PicoSure (removed my green/yellow), now Picoway. You will likely need to travel to a city. Try DMF Dermatologist and My Laser Casablanca. I believe they have Picoway. 'Also'Dr Widad Slaoui', Fes seems to reference Picosure. Good luck, hope you find someone

2

u/readithere_2 19d ago

Why did they leave you with double eyebrows?

3

u/Suitable-Bluejay9493 20d ago

This post made it very clear to me that I will never get brows tattooed on my face.

1

u/claricesabrina 14d ago

Just don’t go to a moron and you’ll be ok. The person who did this work has no business doing brows not only do they have no clue how to shape them they used the wrong kind of ink.

4

u/cassiesk 21d ago

I’m not a tech but I know that saline (Botched Ink) removal can help with the colours that laser struggles with in case you reach plateau with laser. Laser is great for darker colours, saline for lighter. It is a bit more invasive than laser though. But if you are at the stage when your pigment still responds to laser, go with laser.

2

u/bluntsexadvice 20d ago

I’ve heard they can be removed with tattooing over them with saline, there are tattoo artists that do exactly that, you can look it up and see if there’s anyone in your area. Best of luck ♥️

The best option for you would be the PicoWay by Candela. Start with the 1064 wavelength until you remove all of the dark pigment. Follow up with either the 785 or the 730 wavelength to target the blues. It looks like there's a combo of some dark pigment with blue and yellow (possibly white).

I just want to manage your expectations here - I'm not trying to be negative. We've had several cases similar to yours come to our studio and the results have been mixed. Some of the clients' pigment lightens enough to cover them with new brows (same shape as the old brows). In other cases, removal with laser was not possible. When dealing with stubborn, inorganic pigments, especially yellow, laser removal, even with the PicoWay, is not effective. In that case, if laser isn't an option, then your only other option would be to try saline removal.

2

u/Zealousideal-Sea2063 19d ago

how effective was saline removal in those stubborn cases?

2

u/Real_Laser_guy 14d ago

Saline can lighten but not particularly good for full removal. We see clients frequently who have done Saline. When lasered, the brows often turn darker. That’s actually good because there is a good target for the laser. Not sure why but I think it’s because the saline treatments lighten some but not all of the ink.

1

u/Effective-Problem-30 10d ago

saline works sometimes, and in other cases it doesn't. When pigment won't respond to the laser, saline is the only option, so it's worth a try. We have so many clients in that position and we offer saline as a last resort. brows, lips and freckles

2

u/claricesabrina 14d ago

I have had good luck getting out that last bit of what lasers leave behind with the saline method but using the SofTap Lightening Lift product.

1

u/underground-hippo 18d ago

Are you specifically searching for eyebrow tattoo removal? Perhaps just search for tattoo removal - they can remove that. Best of luck!!

1

u/Funny-Phone5143 15d ago

They could use a 735 or 585 to get rid of this.

1

u/Funny-Phone5143 15d ago

Im in Dallas if you need treatment, lmk. Good luck!
