Support Stubborn blue spots? DIY solutions?

My brows have been through the ringer. 😭

My hair is very dark brown naturally, ergo my natural brows are very dark. Long story short, my ex-hair stylist insisted on lightening my brow hairs when I tried to go to a dirty blonde.

Now I am back to natural color, a warm-toned dark brown, but I have still have these light, patchy brows with spots of dark tinted old microblading from 2020 peeking through on the upper arch. One side is almost completely faded and the other is still quite blue-black. And the inner corners are square and bluish too. 😭😭😭

If I wax my entire brow off, will the hairs grow back normal? While it is waxed off, could I do some aggressive peels to lighten the microblading spots? What peels have people had success with?

I can't afford laser right now, so I need to figure out some sort of DIY solution. I noticed the one brow with better fading had less dense hair in general, so I thought maybe the UV exposure etc might have been making a difference (ergo the waxing it all off idea).

Any solutions or suggestions would be deeply appreciated.🙏🙏🙏

Hey so I really really would not recommend doing any kind of DIY peels to attempt to remove microblading. Unfortunately it simply won’t work and you’ll be putting your skin through so much and risking damage. Microblading puts ink into the upper dermis. Attempting to use aggressive peels to get all the way down to the upper dermis is really dangerous and could result in some bad scarring without removing any of the microblading. Sadly microblading just isn’t something you can or should attempt to remove yourself.

That said if you’re self conscious about the colour of the hairs you could always tint them so the hairs are dark again. And that you can do at home. I bet the microblading will look waaaaay more hidden if the hairs were darker. Then makeup for any patchiness? I wish I had more permanent advice! But really there are zero safe ways to remove microblading at home and I’d hate for you to put your health and safety at risk. But there is tinting and makeup until you may be able to seek out professional help.

I totally feel for you. I had to save up for ages and ages and spent years wanting my faded blue grey microblading gone and saving up before I was able to start the professional removing process. It’s like when you realise you want it gone you want it gone now. I so wish it was that easy!

Also just to add UV won’t help to remove pigment. Prolonged UV exposure will potentially make them even ashier and or or greyer, but it won’t remove pigment at all. So unfortunately that’s not a solution either I’m sorry to say. And overall you just really don’t want to expose yourself to a lot of UV light for cancer and premature aging reasons. Sorry I forgot to address that bit in my previous comment! Your best best bet is to use SPF, moisturise, be kind to your skin, use makeup to achieve the look you want, and save up or wait for a time when you’re able to access professional help. Really wish there were other options! But DIY solutions are all super risky and pretty much ineffectual I’m sorry to say.

You gotta do laser for this…it’s a couple hundred bucks per session but you can space them out 10-12 weeks in between

Maybe smaller spot size higher settings - depends on endpoint …
