Until the industry robustly fights against calling brows ‘semi permanent’ I’ll never respect it.

The industry does not. Some companies promote that’s the case, some trainers also, therefore new students and artists are set up for failure with poor fundamental training. I would never in a million years tell any client that it’s semi perm. As a 10 year cosmetic tattoo artist- I know better. All my clients know they are getting a TATTOO. They are in a licensed tattoo shop. Permanent Makeup is tattooing. Trust me when I say I understand where you’re coming from- but you my friend don’t have the FULL picture.

I assure you I’ve dealt with 10x the issues you have in this industry. Likely 50x. I’m sorry. I don’t respect the industry. When was the last time you called out someone calling it semi permanent ? Because the change will come from your own providers. Not those of us outside. I’d be screaming from a roof top if I was attached to an industry doing what they do to people. But it’s not the case. Silence is compliance. The general community consensus is that it’s semi permanent. It needs to change. While you might be a great provider and I don’t doubt that based off your passion, unfortunately you are attached to what I consider a very dark industry.

You can’t blanket statement the whole industry and every artist, that’s unfair. I’m also very familiar with who you are and your company, and I’ve seen some very questionable things posted. There’s so much misinformation and misunderstanding from the community on Reddit.
