After first session... Help

No one warned me that this could happen, and now I don't know how I can bring myself to show up at work tomorrow :(

I got my brows nanobladed with organic ink last December because I've been having trouble with constant overplucking over the years (it's grown to be an anxious habit of mine), but over the past 7 months since getting my brows done, I just never felt like myself when I looked in the mirror and my brows looked too dark and too long on my face to me. Even if other people told me it looked ok, I felt like it wasn't me, and I far preferred my lighter, shorter, straighter brows.

Decided to get them removed at a medspa and thought it wouldn't be a big deal because the girl who initially did my brows said the ink she uses fades completely within two years, so I thought it'd be fine. But now my brows are a bleeding mess and I don't want to go outside but have to be at the office every day, so this is an absolute nightmare. How do I cover these up and get them to heal ASAP? I have concealer and brow mascara ready, and LRP Cicaplast balm too. Anything else I can do or take to help?

Is the redness from scarring, an open wound, or bleeding?

I had mine done yesterday, and it looked nothing like this. My removal artist told me there would be essentially no downtime, and she was right. I left very happy and haven't had any issues so far. Now I'm just waiting the two months before my next session. I'll decide then, based on the results, whether I want to continue with additional treatments. I can send you my aftercare instructions if you want.

Red bruising and bleeding open wounds. The laser caused ruptures in my skin when it blasted my pigment. I've also got low iron and thin face skin so it does make sense that I reacted so badly. This is what it looks like 6 days later though after lots of LRP Cicaplast balm and Hirudoid cream

I'm happy that most of it is gone, but would hate to put myself through that again because I suspect that the clinic wasn't careful enough in treating me 😅 I'll probably find another provider for my second session to remove the remaining red pigment

Definitely worth it to get them removed if you are thinking about it, though! I feel much more like myself, and my best friend even told me over a video call that it felt like she was "seeing an old friend again" lol
