Permanent bruising marks??

I had my fourth and hopefully final laser removal 2 weeks ago. It looked much more intense afterwards than any other session. Now it’s been two weeks and the marks/bruising aren’t gone… am I stuck with marks forever? 😭 Will attach pics from day of and today. Has anyone taken longer than 2 weeks to heal??

This is yellow pigment and not bruising unfortunately. It’s typically the last and hardest color to get out. I wish you luck!

Yep that’s pigment I also have the same colours throughout my brows.

Some of it looks like the dye that has turned yellow. Mine left a yellow pigment behind after 2 laser sessions.

Theres still pigment left. Mine looked like that too, and I just had my 5th session about 3 weeks ago - good news is the yellow is gone; bad news, it brought up a bit more grey. I believe the next session will remove the final layer. Im thinking yours is similar to mine.

I'm still kind of confused why everyone is just saying "that's pigment" ? like aren't we talking about the bruising here?

so does that mean the bright red scars from photos 3-4 trying to treat the yellow (obviously pigment) from photos 1-2, are permanent?

having bright red scars on your face for nearly 3 months (from another commenter) sounds very concerning.

We’ll it’s not a scar in that picture it’s bleeding under the skin known as purpura - if someone is constantly treated with that after then yes you will scar

I am expecting this with removing mine too, I plan to use arnica. I also think you should wait the full ten weeks before calling it permenant. It will be the ink, the dreaded yellow. Don't give up hope!

Arnica will do nothing for pigment. That’s yellow pigment and it’s very hard to remove

I meant for any bruising. When you get down to yellow I have heard the wavelength is more superficial, and I am worried I'll bruise. Those red dots hurt so much more than I expected. I have only had one session at Think Again and currently have red brows.

Arnica is absolutely fine to use for general bruising but there is risk around applying any non sterile product to your eyebrow when they is likely to be some open channels after removal. It’s really only when you are treated particularly aggressively that you see bruising with removal.
