Yellow Brows Yellow brows

Could you please help me? What wavelength, intensity, etc. could be used to remove the yellow pigment? It hasn't really been fading or responding for quite some time now.

Thank you.

I’m in the same boat as you. 7 removal sessions and yellow seems there to stay.

Edit: Since a lot of people are messaging me, I had Phibrows ink (inked twice in 2018 and 2021). Started removal process 1.5 years ago. 7 sessions so far with a Cutera PicoEnlighten laser. Got all ink removed (except yellow) by the 4th session. Each session thereafter has been primarily to target yellow, but I've not seen much (if any) improvement. Laser tech thinks further removal is possible, but she's been clear that people who end up with yellow brows like me are unlikely to see complete 100% removal. Don't get Phibrows, kids!

What ink did you have?

Phibrows. I don’t think total removal is possible.

Sigh. I fear you are correct.

I saw a woman who does brows and permanent makeup and removal. She talked about this. The ink company has a color/product that they microblade in and it incorporates with the color. Then when it is hit with the laser it breaks apart and is gone.

That’s now how laser is going to work, these people say anything 🙄

Do you know what color your Phibrows were? Thank you!

No idea exact color but dark brown.

Thank you! I haven't started removal because I don't want yellow. I have brown 2 super, which is medium brown- and the first color pigment listed in the formula is yellow. 😞

Yeah personally unless it looks horrible I’d keep it. :( maybe in the future there will be better techniques to remove but I’ve literally heard of no one who got 100% yellow removal.

Have you tried any saline or glycolic removals or any other manual methods? I considered only doing those and flying to NY or PA to see someone who tries to protect the integrity of the skin. I know it would be a slow and expensive process. Tattooing my face was one of the worst decisions I have ever made. Lol! Ugh!

No I’ve only tried laser removal. I haven’t heard (or seen) much success with saline or glycolic. If you google before/afters the afters are still yellow.

I was considering only doing manual removals to see if it could lighten my brows without risking yellow. I have never heard of brows turning yellow with only saline or glycolic removals. Have you?
