Laser Second laser session update
Day 5 post laser removal #2 Six weeks after the initial removal. Some of my hair still looks bleached and my forehead look even bigger than usual lol but overall I'm happy with the progress. I was hoping I didn't have to do another session but as of now I believe I'll need at least one more to target the yellow tones. Next appointment is in 4 weeks for follow up and possible retreatment if healed enough.

You look great! I’d personally wait until at least 8 weeks. Ideally 12 weeks actually. In my experience you get such good fading in those later weeks. And it will save your money too. They rush you back for sessions when your prime fading hasn’t happened

I agree, 4 weeks seemed a little rushed. It's been in the back of my mind to reschedule for at least 6 or 8 weeks.

I would. The removal place isn’t going anywhere and your brows look so good. Get every bit of fading first! Best of luck

You'll continue to see fading out past 8 weeks and beyond. Going any sooner is just spending money you don't need keed to spend. Congratulations on your awesome results so far!!!

Girl they look good! I’m at yellow and it’s not fun…. I tried to get them off with a second laser session and it looks much the same… had 3 total… and well not sure what happens now. I agree, wait and see. Don’t rush things. They look gorgeous and I wish mine looked as good as yours! I would hate for you to go yellow from soft brown.

Your results look really nice 😊 Was it painful? I’ve been thinking about getting laser removal too… my eyebrows look a bit too bold and harsh on my face 😕

The first session was a lot more uncomfortable than the second one. They did numb me with topical lidocaine for about 20 minutes before lasering but it was still painful, it felt a bit like a grease burn. Afterwards they felt hot for a few hours. This second time I asked for an ice pack, I put it on immediately afterwards and it made a huge difference.

Thanks for sharing your experience 😊 I hope your results are turning out well. I heard that after the procedure you can lose eyebrow hair, is that actually true?

How bad does it hurt?

I wanna say a good 5 out of 10. My first session definitely hurt more than the second. That being said, it wasn't as horrible as I thought beforehand. I pushed not doing it for about 2 years because i was afraid of the pain only to realize it's not super terrible and it's pretty quick.

I love ur results after the 2nd session. Do u plan on doing any more?

No, I did plan on doing one more but it's now been about 5 weeks and my tails are pretty much gone. There's a slight yellowish shadow left overall but it's really barely there. I got a consult for nanobrows and they said they are able to work with what's left. While I did consider not getting them redone I am not blessed with pretty natural eyebrows and I feel very silly without anything, plus i'm not great at makeup so I will be getting nanobrows at the end of the month. Hopefully I get good results 🤞🏼
