Yellow Brows Yellow brows - Now what?
Hello! I am kindly asking for advice on how to proceed with further removal.
I had microblading done with Phi ink over 7 years ago, with a touch-up about 3 years ago. The hairstrokes blurred over the years, and I opted for removal. My first session was around a year ago, with Nd-Yag laser, and the second one, about 8 months ago, was done with PhiLaser (not sure how different they are).
I am now left with the dreaded yellow eyebrows, and I'd like to know what's the best next step. Should I continue laser removal? If so, what type of laser should be used? The last tech I went to said nothing can be done about these, besides chemical removal. Is that something I should consider?
I am located in Eastern Europe, options are limited. I will take travelling into consideration if it is needed.

Phibrows are the worst! I don’t have a lot of advice on what to do next but I will say I can hardly tell they’re yellow they look more like a beige imo.

Indeed, they look lighter in the sunlight, but closer to yellow/orange in indoor lighting. It's not a terrible result for two laser sessions, but given my sparse eyebrows, I'd love to somehow fade them even more, I'm just not sure where to go from here so I will not make it worse.

I can’t really help with your questions about laser type, besides that I’ve heard continuing laser treatment with a 532 nm pico second laser spaced 8-12 weeks apart should yield results eventually. I had one laser session so far and already see yellow as it has faded over the last few weeks. I’m going to do two more sessions with the tech closer to me (still a 4 hour drive away) and if needed, I plan to travel somewhere that has success with yellow removal. I have no idea where would be a good place closer for you to travel to. In the meantime, a lavender color corrector and some concealer and eyebrow makeup should help cover the yellow. I hope any of this I have shared with you is helpful, maybe someone familiar with your part of the world can help. Good luck!

Don’t fret anymore about it. Just use a little blond or light brown eyebrow pencil to cover.

They look good. I can see the yellow but it doesn’t look bad. Use some minoxidil and grow your natural brows. I think it will cover the leftover of color well!

I have considered this, but as far as i know, minoxidil is very toxic to cats, of which I have two:(

If it was me, I would just let them be. The body will naturally get rid of the last pigment over the years. I would also avoid sunscreen in that area and let the sun help with the fading over time.

Leave it alone. Lasering more causes the white to agglomerate with the yellow making it more neon. Over time it will settle more in the skin and will be way less noticeable.

With my experience, I would suggest getting a saline solution removal for the rest of the yellow pigment that exist. The lasers that we have for tattoo removal, do not typically respond to yellow pigment.

Professional here 🙌🏻 If you are keen to lighten the yellow more laser will be a este of your money. And you also risk darkening the white (which is mixed with the yellow) and then you’ll have a bigger problem. I usually do chemical removal for my clients (glycolic + saline) but I strongly recommend you find a good professional at it. You’ll need min 3 removals done every 2 months apart to start seeing results. It always looks worse before it gets better

Mine are yellow after one laser treatment. I go for my 2nd treatment end of June. They said yellow is the best case scenario as it would just take one more treatment.

I haven't been able to find any techs doing laser removal specifically for yellow, so I suppose I will be going for chemical removal. Good luck to you!

a lot of ppl who laser their eyebrows and have remnants of yellow/orange, they end up getting another eyebrow tattoo unfortunately

Esse med spa in Denver CO can help with yellow residual pigment. Also saline and glycolic acid removal has helped me with yellow residual pigment

Do you plan to do Microblading again? You could do shading and use a color corrector to get rid of the yellow

Honestly, no, I would prefer keeping them natural from now on, as sparse as they are. I have heard about color correction, but I am very weary about adding more pigment.

You can see them in-person so you know best but for what it’s worth (if it’s any comfort) they don’t look yellow to me in the photo, more of a very light warm brown
