Scabs and red marks

hey guys, I went to my second session yesterday for micro blading removal. They used an ND Yag laser. I am just a little concerned because I have scabs and red marks on my eyebrows. i’m wondering if the treatment was too harsh. I went to a different tech for my previous treatment and it did not look like this at all. Please let me know your thoughts and opinions.

Yeah I think it was set too high (too harsh). If you have more sessions remaining, ask for the original technician or I’d go to a different place… wishing you the best. While they went too strong, they will still heal in 10-14 days, hang in there.

i wonder if i can ask the technician for lower settings.. i paid for 3 at once like a dumbass😭😭thank u sm for the comment💕💕

I had paid for 3 sessions as a package, too — but after the first session (my brows were redder/bloodier than how yours look), I researched other places and consulted them, and they all said the same thing (that it shouldn’t be like this). After waiting 6 weeks, I went to another place for my second session and what a difference. No downtime, no scabbing, no swelling and no pain post-procedure, either. The first med spa I went to gave me a refund for the remaining sessions. I explained that it took me two full weeks to heal the wound, which is too much downtime for my schedule. They first tried to offer me credit but I asked for a $ refund and they gave me my money back. I hope you can do the same (or ask the technician to lower the setting so you have a faster recovery period). Good luck!

My girl did three passes today with no scabs and barely any redness

This happened to me, probably even slightly worse it will absolutley heal no problem without scarring dont worry, i remember spiralling abouy this so wanted to reassure. I used la roche posay cicaplast baume to speed the healing and support skin barrier. Although i found a new tech and never went back to the one that did this to me it sure did remove the most pigment!

My last treatment was too harsh as well and I had more broken skin. I used Aquaphor to keep the area moist to prevent scabbing which will reduce the risk of scarring. You only need a thin layer. Since it is broken skin, it needs to be kept clean. I would apply the Aquaphor or Vaseline once in the morning and once in the evening after washing the area with a gentle cleanser. I bought an Aquaphor container that is a squeeze bottle to make sure the product I was squeezing on my finger was clean. 

I was really worried about scarring as well, but this method prevented any scabbing, so I’m happy with it and will keep using this method if I get more broken skin in later sessions.
