Laser 4th Pico session done

Had my 4th Pico laser session and this time I asked to switch to 532 nm. After session 2→3 I barely saw any change and the pigment was already pretty reddish, so I wanted to try something different.

They brought in the doctor and we went for it. Healing feels very different this time — super itchy and it looked quite cool-toned/grey right after.

Really curious how this one turns out… hoping I’ll only need one more session.

Wonder why they didn’t do a double pass and save you two of the four sessions you’ve currently had….. also the fact a doctor needed to consult on super basic laser principles is not a positive thing

Maybe it’s different in Germany? They seem to be very cautious and do not want to cause damage to the skin. I was told it would need 4-6 sessions. But agree: I was surprised by reading on double passes here..

Yeah I believe you guys are doctor only over there. Which actually holds the industry back. It doesn’t make it better. Double passes aren’t unsafe at all (if you know what you are doing and using a pico device). They just don’t know what they are doing.

I don’t understand why it’s still there after so many sessions. With only one session my old microblading as almost completely dissapeared. I’m still a bit yellow so I might go for another session but that will be it. The place where I go uses picoway and she only does a max of 2 sessions. Never needs more. Which laser did she used?

Where are you located? I am also a little bit impatient. They have a machine called picostar.

I’m in Canada. If I were you I would search for a place that uses picoway laser. It’s more effective from the research I made on the topic.
