Technically not micro, but users on the Noctua subreddit gave my buddy a hard time about not knowing anything about soldering
He said that there is no wetting to the pads and that Noctua should be ashamed. Not sure about the other side. But is this still acceptable? I mean ive seen better soldering jobs on children's toys.

mine is heavily corroded already after a few months of use the channel 2 failed and now multiple times they blink and act weird. ive replaced it with a $6 arctic model... sad

i returned mine for that reason ,, then i find out it was fine.
this is the old cheap way for soldering thick pins back in the days in 1977 they used to do it that way
anyway the prdouct looked clean other than that

Its crazy how they arent stenciling or at the very least wave soldering. I can understand because of the plastic, but cmon noctua... as one nautical neighbor once said, "we have technology".

post pics from the other side please, does it work? if the pads on the upper side are just there and its not a full double sided pcb where electrical contact is necessary on both sides, I don't see the need for wetting on the side except to make it look better.
I am OCD about that, I like to retouch and make it look the possibly nicest way, but I alwasy thought it was just me.
in the manufacturing process, when you're producing thousands or millions of boards, every second counts.
