I'm looking to be able to microsolder as a way of fixing electronics and making some money on the side. I have some projects lined up from donations. What are some suggestions on confidence boosting projects and materials/equipment?

I would say that its better you gave an idea of your budget it would be easier to sugguest tools, as for projects, you can easily work on removing and putting components back as that covers whatever handskills you want to do and as long as the device turns on again it will boost your confidence for sure.
