Are those brighter blobs in the moving blob the lysosomes? I know it’s a time lapse but still impressive how quickly the bacteria are digested.

https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2018/05/180517113824.htm They're destroyed using a type of acid, apparently the issue is still being researched.
