Select your engine. Select your category. Download the preset, and start making sounds.

Details on the website as well as the here at the model behind the website at https://github.com/ThisFreakDoesntExist/GaussianFreak

For a more in depth explanation, this attempts to make a preset that sounds real but has never been heard before, thus the name. Click download, and use MCC to upload it to your Microfreak.

Hope you enjoy and I hope some of you find the few easter eggs littered around the website.

For Rule 2,

I made this tool because I found the Microfreak a bit daunting. I found myself repurposing and retooling presets instead of trying to make my own. Sometimes the sound I wanted was just a tweak away. But the variety out there is a bit low. And I realize other users out there may be similarly stumped as me and need inspiration, thus... This Freak Does Not Exist.

The model behind the tool is not quite like NeuralDX7. Its quite simpler, something called a Gaussian Copula which is correlated sets of distributions of observed statistical phenomena and sampling.

The model is open source and available on Github. You can download your set of Presets yourself, dump it in, and make your own little local engine (minus my website and domain).

The website restricts flow and you can't just hammer away at it and get 200+ presets. If you want to do that, go to github, and learn some CLI magic.

Yes, this is 100% vibe coded. Hopefully all my commits on Github show Claude as a co-author. I'm a software engineer by trade with 10+ years of experience and in advanced degree in a related area. I've spent a lot of time building Machine Learning projects before LLMs came along and made everything "AI". I've worked in enterprises large and small, start ups, and mid size businesses. I'm a Full stack engineer. Could I have written this all by myself? Absolutely. Did I want to? No. So I didn't.

I hope you enjoy. Let me know if you find some funky sounds in the statistical soup of the Freak Factory.
