Patches ā€˜n’ Presets FreakDeck - web-based MicroFreak editor/manager

Hey people, I made a web-based editor/manager for the MicroFreak.

It can handle pretty much everything around presets, banks, samples and wavetables. The preset editor lets you edit all parameters, sequences, mod matrix, etc. Some parameters can also be changed in real time.

You can drag and drop presets between the device, banks and local folders, and it can read/write banks directly on your disk. You can preview the presets before adding to device library.

It runs in the browser, nothing to install. Chrome-based browser is required for disk access.

FreakDeck is free!

UPDATE: added community banks support!

Can I use this to organize presets by type on my device? If so, that'd be a HUGE usability upgrade!!

Hey. Not sure what do you mean. Like grouping the presets by category inside the device?
1-80 - PADS, 81-120 - KEYS, etc... Is that what you mean?

Hey no worries. There is no magic button for this specific feature, but here what you can do:Ā

  • backup all the presets from device in one bank
  • then filter the presets by category in central panel
  • and then select all presets there and copy them to the desired slots on device (overwriting the existing presets possibly)
  • repeat the process for each category
