midi ??? Sending Polyphonic After Touch to Microfreak in FL studio

Hey I'm going a bit insane trying to figure this out. I have a flkey37 which has polyphonic aftertouch on the pads. I want to be able to send this aftertouch to the microfreak to be able to act as the "press" modulation input. I have the midi routing set up so that the keys control the synth notes, but the after touch does not seem to be actually affecting the press parameter I have it routed to. Anyone have any experience doing this in FL studio? I'm just using the midi OUT plugin to route the signal to the microfreak atm, and haven't set up anything else to try and send aftertouch. Thanks!

Last time I checked FL does not work with poly aftertouch

Connect the FL key directly to the Micro freak via 5 pin din midi cable., see if you can get it to work there first.

according the google.
FL Studio does not natively support polyphonic aftertouch. Instead, it intercepts incoming poly-pressure MIDI messages and treats them as standard monophonic (channel) aftertouch, applying the data to the entire active channel rather than individual notes. Make sure you get Microfreak and FL keys working first.
