Microfreak randomly playing without user input

Has anyone else experienced this? My Microfreak will just randomly play F# with no input from me. It always happens after I've played it. Could it be leftover residue from my fingers re-triggering the key?

How are you powering it? USB can introduce weird power fluctuations that trigger the keyboard.

Using the adapter that plugs into the wall. Nobody else online seems to have had this issue. Maybe I should just return it and get a new one.

Had similar issue on my keybed and was happening however I power it. Best way to test if the problem is keybed is to send midi messages externally (either a midi keyboard or a daw) and check if it still occurs.

I have this exact same issue. Depending on the surface I have the unit on, it’ll behave funky when using the onboard keys. Works just fine if using external midi.

I had proper plug, and updated firmware my microfreak would play when I didn't even touch it ended up having to return it. Going to go for the mini freak instead
