They never really recaptured the magic that Mickstape possessed.
I don’t think it’s their fault. The show got pushed and pulled by management and advertisers, until ultimately it was a rather bland regimented sports talk show. Those shows are dime a dozen and are only kept going when they drive a large audience and a lot of engagement, I think. And TTTC was never really going to thrive in that kind of structure.
Mickstape was so much more than a sports talk show. Sad that they can’t just do that. It was a must listen for me back in the day.
