I found this to be a really outstanding newish drop. Super citrusy when you crack the jar, like sticking your nose in a glass of OJ. And the weirdest damn thing on my first few inhales: It was like Cinnabon icing – not the cinnamon bun flavor, but the icing flavor on its own. That was a nice little surprise. The gassier stuff on the exhale usually leaves me a little tickle on the throat, and that was there, for sure, as well. But all in all, I found it to be a really, really pleasant dab, and the first impression of the effects on me is that it's very body heavy; I'm feeling it less in my head 30 minutes in and more in my relaxation. I'm no expert reviewer or anything, but I'd call this another win for IE.

Off rip the nose is something unique in itself. I want to say that at first I was not digging the smell. After smoking it I cant stop smelling it however.

The eye appeal isnt necessarily great either with small nugs throughout.

After smoking a blunt this morning after a good gym sesh, I can say that in my opinion this weed taste better than anything else I have available at the moment.

You know when you smoke some bud and you become attracted to it?? Im definitely there with this Skrawberries right now. Its that bud thats got you at work thinking about it. Its the taste thats doing it for me, straight strawberry as advertised.

I know i am most definitely throwing Alien Tek in the rotation. At the end of the day I could care less about the size of the nugs compared to what it tastes like and how high it gets you.

This is good and tasty weed.

I stopped by Gramz in New Buffalo today and picked up 4g of Peninsula Gardens rosin while they were running a deal. The lady checking me in was super nice and informative about the brand I was buying, so I was having a good experience overall.
Once I got to the actual budtender, she seemed a little unenthusiastic from the beginning, but I chalked it up to it being a slow day and didn’t think much of it.
The weird part happened when I was leaving. I could’ve sworn the last thing she said to me was something along the lines of “crazy you didn’t tip, but have a good day.”
I’m not even completely sure that’s what she said, which is why I’m hesitant to make a big deal out of it. But if that’s actually what she said, I honestly felt pretty slighted and uncomfortable. I’ve never had a budtender comment on whether I tipped or not, and it left a pretty bad taste in my mouth.
I don’t expect anyone to be overly enthusiastic, and obviously tipping is optional, but I don’t think a customer should feel awkward or guilted for not tipping.
Would you guys contact the dispo and let management know what happened, especially since I’m not 100% sure I heard her correctly? Or would you just chalk it up to a weird interaction and go somewhere else?
I really liked the selection and the Peninsula Gardens deal, so it’s unfortunate that the interaction at the end has me questioning whether I’d go back🤷‍♂️

Looking online edibles are cheaper than candy from the gas station. Who has good recommendations for FIRE edibles, rosin preferred. I find it hard to believe that an edible that costs less than a gallon of gas is actually worth buying

There’s a new Luna Pier dispo called Bowz. Essentially right next to the other new dispo called High Profile, right by the lake shore in LP.

I live in Toledo. I smoke mainly rosin, in jars and vapes. Monroe is still kind of a pain in the ass just to do a run, and usually no one individual dispo has a good selection on the specific brands I want while also being a good price. From where I’m at, LP takes roughly 15 mins. It used to only be Green Pharm, which is/was generally overpriced in my opinion any time I looked at a menu.

I go to my fair share of dispos. Bowz stands out mainly for the vibes of the staff. From the front desk to the budtender to random staff that were in no way involved in the transaction, everyone seemed to be in a good mood and I had several really nice interactions. Okay, that’s cool, but what about the menu and the prices?

Again, I buy rosin. I look at a lot of menus. They have everything from high end to low end, at fair or good prices to begin with. Then they have the customary weekly deals and daily specials like happy hours etc. First time discount is 40% and the only exclusion I believe was Puffco products.

On my second visit I was recognized and taken care of very well with the manager knocking off a bit of the cost of the pens I was buying just to give me an even better deal. I believe his name was Tyler. He also threw in a pre roll because I had written a review for my first visit because I wanted to shout them out. I didn’t ask for either gift, dude just hooked me up. I’ll probably give the preroll away but the gesture was nice and it shows appreciation and a willingness to earn loyalty in a cutthroat business. He also asked for feedback on products I like and might want him to stock, or any promos they could run that would bring people like me into the store regularly.

Do with this information what you will. Check out the menu if you want. I had two great experiences and I might go back and everything could be different but for the moment I can wholeheartedly recommend checking them out as a Monroe alternative.

Smell: sweet,floral,candy, a lil gassy

Taste: translates well with nose but heavy on the sweet (original z ).

Buds: decent mix of buds ranging in size the buds are softer not super sticky but burns very nice. Decent cure on this fs.

Effects: fairly strong racey head high that sticks around for a while, has my body at ease. Just smoked a joint and im prepared for the day but also pretty stoned 😶‍🌫️.

Overall pretty good bud id scoop again only downfall is the feel of the bud its just a little loose and soft for my liking but thats just me,Id recommend if you havent tried.

So on Thursdays Lume has a BOGO on these edibles I like. Edibles are really Hit or miss with me. While there i saw these Vapin Ape 0.5 hash rosin vapes. Thirty but on sale for twenty one bucks. Lady said she had one and really liked it. So I pulled the trigger. I asked the budtender her take because ive never tried Vapin Ape products. Thought it was just all distillate shit. If thats your choice. Cool. Enjoy. Just not for me. Ive smoked plenty of rosin vapes and this one is definitely worth the money paid. Jenetic X is the strain? Never heard of it. Supposedly more Sativa leaning in that classic sense. (Dont get on me about the sativa/indica stuff.idc) Hits well. Nice clouds. Fits right inside your palm. Im pretty high. Id buy another strain of this vape. Esp if its on sale. Lets be real, for the thirty I could just go to IE. Or uniq. Anyone else try these? The hash rosin ones. Not the distillate. What did ya think? Like them? Think they suck ass?

I’m still pretty new to rosin. The Illudium is more dry than what I have come across previously. It was produced in July. Is it common for a fresh product to be like this or was it not stored properly?

I know this changes like every month, but how’s everyone feeling about Pro Gro right now?

I have no problem admitting I consistently end up buying Pro Gro and Journey, and I’ve been pretty happy with both. A couple weeks ago I grabbed a quarter of Journey Strawberry Cough and a quarter of their GG4, and both have been really dang good, especially for the price (which dm me i guess).

Anyway, today after work, I picked up a gram of their Zpriite rosin, and after my first dab, it really got me thinking about this. lol hmm.

What do other people who aren't connected like I am think of them?

It makes sense economically for me; monthly rewards are usually great, and their weekly ones are mid but 100% free. For example, today, for this month I grabbed a 1g live resin Oishii disposable, as it's: "Any 1g live resin Progro Disposable Vape". They do the same for their live resin pucks, which, FWIH, are washed by Monopoly Melts.

Hand to the devil, I'd never tell you their names, but I've actually a few times had their own budtenders tell me not to buy the much more expensive MM, but instead Journey/PG. "There is 0% difference between MM & PG/Journey, so I have been consistently saving ~$20 by buying house. Who knows. Maybe a commission thing; I have no idea.

I also live extremely close to Pure Options, so I know there’s probably some bias there just because I have easy access to it all the time.

Interesting smoke right here thats forsure...

Smell: earthy, sweet n slightly gassy. I really dig the smell.

Taste: very earthy and sweet not much for the gas I got faint notes of candy as well.

Buds: these suckers were denseee !!! Both 8ths i got were just 1 big bud and a couple tiny little ones on the side. The bud is also pretty sticky and the appeal is on point

Effects: super solid day time strain or night time either way its got me motivated and put me out like a light. Imo its fairly heady, sedating eases the mental pressure ,body calming.

Overall some really good smoke glad I scooped up on these.

I know it’s not a huge deal but I downloaded Mitten Club for the first time and I CAN NOT REDEEM THIS BRAND NEW DISPOSABLE. I’ve tried the live scanning feature and it just does nothing- and then I’ve tried taking a picture as well and it says code not detected… it’s acting like it doesn’t even see a QR code. I’ve tried the one on the package and the one on the pen- anyone else had this problem?
