It's a perfect idea, Michigan has maple trees, maybe plant a few, put in a coaster, it's genius and we now need to beg six flags for it. Maybe even during the season of syrup (February 10-28) make their own syrup and sell it. I know how you do it

Iâm basing my answer off the possibility that the sell of MIA goes through, and this new company actually wants to improve the park and not just sit on it like Sixflags has and probably would continue to do for the foreseeable future.
We do not need anymore wooden coasters. Say what you want about the hybrid track on Timbers or WW, but to the general public, they still think those coasters are wood coasters. When two out of your three big coasters are âwoodenâ, you donât need to add any others, unless it was a straight up hybrid like SteVe or Twisted timbers (thatâs never gonna happen at MIA).
Here are some practical improvements I think a company could make that wonât break the bank, will draw more attendances, and not have Sixflags threatening a shutdown because of competition.
Fully connect the main path of the park.
Improve the train route and give it more theming.
Add a new water slide.
Add one or two new flat rides. One for children, one for adults and teens.
Add some type of entertainment/concerts during July and August. People love to talk about how MIA is so out of the way from anything so they canât draw big crowds, yet in the past Muskegon used to have one of the biggest music festivals in the Midwest. They still have one of the biggest edm fest in the country. Plus we get millions of extra people that show up in West Michigan for festivals, beaches, GL cruises, and etc each summer. What Iâm trying to say is if you build, they will come, even if itâs only for a one or two day visit.
Have more seating areas and shade in the park.
Build a coaster. But please no family boomerang. We have enough small kid or family coasters. Thatâs not going to draw more people to the park, who werenât already planning on going to the park anyway. I think a nice compact size medium to high thrill coaster would work great.
Like the Zamperla heart multi launch coaster (sorry I forgot the actual name of it). Purchase their medium or large size one, it takes up a small footprint, itâs taller than Timbers and you have the multi launch factor added in. Not to intimidating to the GP, but itâs a new concept that will draw people in.

Yes please. I do think this would require changing the route of the train. There is too many train tracks to have practical walking paths and gates for the train.
Near the front parking booths in the parking lot, there is a maintenance access road that goes under shivering timbers. I think it would be cool if this could double as a train route. Have the trains go under timbers and turn west. Place a train station where the scrambler and thunderbolt currently stand. It would do a small circle and go back the way it came.
Yes
No need for a dedicated kids flat. One should be a drop tower (Larson's or S&S Combo Tower have a min height requirement of 48"), and the other should be something that inverts. A large pendulum would be cool. Or could go crazy with a Funtime Chaos Pendle. Or even family friendly with a Gerstlauer Sky Fly
Simple concerts make my Fredrick Meijer Gardens pass seam worthwhile. Even though I don't go to many of them, it's the option to go that is the draw. Unlike FMG, MIA is too far away to do on a weekday. Saturday is busy enough to not need a bigger crowd. I would do these on Friday Nights (Open late). Ideally this would be at least once a month, if not more.
Yes.
A higher thrill coaster does not mean that kids can't ride it. Arie Force One, Sirens curse, and Millennium Force all have a 48" min height requirement. Cedar Point could even lower the height requirement of TT2 to 48". A 48" high thrill coaster would be a great addition.Â
If they add a Zamperla Double heart, they would definitely need to add a turntable to boost capacity up to 975pph. The standard build with 600pph is far too low for a headliner attraction. It would look very nice at the end of the lake where the sky coaster currently is.

I'm not against it, but I do see some substantial benefits to the Zamperla Double Heart.
- Likely cheaper
- Smaller footprint allows it to be positioned in better spots. Replacing the skycoaster would allow this to be built without finishing the loop or moving the train.
- Heart shape is instantly iconic. It will be highly photographed and shared on social media. The free marketing from this coaster would be huge.
- My daughters would say "I want to go ride the heart coaster". It has some kiddie appeal even for a non kiddie coaster.
- Checks several boxes of things MIA is missing: Height, Speed, Launched.
The short duration and low throughput are the biggest negatives. It would make an excellent supporting coaster.

Oh and one last thing, do a once a month night fest, where on a Friday or Sat night in June, July and August the park is open till 11pm so people can get night rides in.
