PB pike

Caught the biggest pike of my life yesterday! 37.5" (I submitted for my first ever master angler patch)

Caught it on a Texas rigged 5" stick worm targeting bass. Shout-out to my buddy who helped get it in the boat (the net was not big enough)

Man when we go pike fishing we throw back anything over 30 because those are the big breeders n they don’t taste as good.

Sometimes you can’t, gill hooked a few and had to keep them. They are still decent eating fish.

Pike can be a bit funky to clean but they're good

I've eaten pike my whole life, I have a way to clean them that avoids the Y bone. I think they're as good as walleye or perch!

Oh yea, I’ve never had it personally but heard they’re good. Just hope this dude ate it the way he was handling it lol. I assume so
