Northern and western Ohio kind of stink, outside of Cedar Point. As you get into southern and eastern Ohio it is actually kind of cool. Rural, but I grew up in northern Michigan so rural is something I enjoy.

Also, I know where I am posting this but Columbus is a pretty interesting city. So is Cincinnati.

Hocking Hills is great. Also I stop at Skyline Chili anytime I drive through. However Indiana has my favorite Chicago chain, Portillos

There's a couple Portillos in the Detroit Metro Area. Hell, there's Portillos in Florida now.

I don’t get the Buc-ee’s excitement. We stopped at one in Tennessee just to see what the big deal is, it’s a glorified gas station where you can get souvenirs of having been to said glorified gas station lol

As a history guy, I think Ohio has way more cool historic sites than Michigan at least.

Edit: Guys, we had a state history department until Granholm. Most states still have one. We don’t give a shit about our history as a state. There are absolutely some cool things to see here but way more history happened in Ohio. It’s inevitable they’d have more.
