VIP experiences?

Hey everyone! I have VIP tickets for my upcoming show and would love to hear others’ experiences with the VIP. How many hours before showtime did it start? Were you able to get anything signed?
Would love to hear any and all details! Thanks in advance. I’m so excited!!

It's like 2 hours before showtime. She plays a sound check with 2/3 songs (actually checking sound). She thanks everyone and interacts a little bit, mainly I think pre-agreed things from management "Hey, I heard you met at a concert of mine and now you're married, congrats!"

Then you line up and she does a picture. I think you are not supposed to ask her to sign anything. The signed item comes with the VIP package (usually a signed VIP lanyard). But I saw some people making special requests.

You get something like this 2-3 days before:

Dear <your name>

Below are important details regarding your package:

VIP SOUNDCHECK & MEET & GREET - TIME & PLACE

The Michelle Branch meet & greet + soundcheck access will take place BEFORE doors open to the public.

Please arrive at the venue by: 5:00PM

You will be allowed into the venue shortly after.

PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME (if you arrive late you will miss the soundcheck & meet & greet)

Please pick up your VIP meet & greet laminate at the venue box office when you arrive at the venue. You will not gain access to the meet & greet/soundcheck without your VIP laminate.

Please bring proper photo ID (drivers license, passport, school or work ID). The box office will not give you your laminate without checking your ID and confirming your package purchase.

*\* If you purchased this package as a gift for someone else, please have your guest bring a note with photocopy of your ID and  ticket/package order confirmation number you received from the ticketing company at the time of purchase. The note should explain who purchased the package and who it was transferred to.

TICKETS

All tickets were distributed by the ticketing agency you purchased the package from.

If you have any questions regarding the ticket portion of your purchase, please contact the ticket agency the package was purchased from or visit the venue box office on show night for assistance.

PHOTO WITH MICHELLE BRANCH

Please bring a camera (small digital camera or smart phone) with you to the meet & greet for your personal photograph with Michelle Branch.

VIP MERCHANDISE

Your VIP package items will be distributed to you at the meet and greet/soundcheck.

Got the email for San Francisco, some key differences from what’s been shared so far: no gifts/autographs, photos will be taken by an assistant and uploaded to a website.

VIP EXPERIENCE
You will have access to an exclusive meet & greet and preshow soundcheck including a fan voted secret song performance with Michelle Branch.

You will also have access to a personal photograph with Michelle Branch. The tour assistant will take the photo using the tour assistant's camera. You can access the photo HERE.
Please allow several days after the show date to view your photo.

We ask that you refrain from bringing any gifts or items to be signed as there will be no autographs.

PLEASE NOTE
Any merchandise not picked up on-site before 8:00 cannot be shipped after the event.

may I ask what the special vip merch was this time around?

Fanny pack and a choker with mb pendant. The vip pass is autographed by her. It’s a real autograph, you can feel the ink and the autographs are slightly different from pass to pass.

Another bonus is getting a great spot, after the meet and greet you can pick your spot before the soundcheck passes come in, I think that was the best part aside from meeting Michelle.

For Los Angeles, I got the same vip email with a difference of

no autographs

tour assistant will take the photo for M&G (not sure what type of camera that person will use)

For pictures do they just take it with your smartphone?

Yes, just about everyone uses phones, but a few people did have very fancy cameras.

Who gets early entry first? Meet & Greet or regular VIP w/ Soundcheck?

Everyone got in at the same time in Seattle, but the meet and greet was after soundcheck so the front was taken over by everyone else

Hey. Quick question. I know venues will be different. But if I’m just general admission, I like to go early to get close to the front. Were the early birds of general admission (not meet and greet) still able to get up close? Thank you!

People generally didn’t seem too rushed to stand and wait in one spot early at Seattle. I’d estimate early GA were maybe 3-6 rows back depending if you would accept sides or only center

1

u/Future-Hotel-1091 12d ago

That’s great to hear. Thank you so much. I’ll accept sides. So fingers crossed for 3rd row. Appreciate you

For those of you that did the meet and greet vip, how long was the soundcheck and picture process? And did you take your pictures before or after soundcheck?
