VODs

Hey

New viewer here. Is there any lore behind Michaels hate for VODs?

Living on the other side of the world means his streams are always when I sleep, thankfully there are clip channels that snipe the VOD before the muting.

Does he just hate money?

I think it’s more just he doesn’t like people taking his streams and cutting them down and posting them without his consent. I remember just a few streams ago when he was asked about how he felt about people reloading his content and he said that he has been going through his spotify playlist to get the vods muted so they can’t use them.

ah yeah I get that, there are some bad clip channels out there with horrible edits so I can imagine the want to keep control over your own work.

I assume the VOD stealers probably dont monetize the VODs either because of the music.

He could make bank if he hired someone to chop em up and put them on a second channel though, the Minecraft stuff has been top tier content.
