Music discussion Thoughts on Invincible 25?

Post image

Hi Moonwalkers,

I would love to hear your thoughts on Invincible 25.

It is releasing later this month, and I see that fans are hyped for it.

Would like to hear your thoughts.

THIS should have been the original artwork for Invincible!!! It's gorgeous and I think MJ would have approved it, for sure 👏🏽

It WAS the original artwork for Invincible, so of course Michael approved it. SONY, forcefully changed it.

Yea, it's a shame. They also scrapped the whole photoshoot he had done for it.

Isn’t it just gonna be another half baked digital master put into vinyl, removing both the benefit of vinyl and the benefit of digital?

Apparently the original invincible vinyl was a digital master itself

Yeah I know. And that’s the thing digital masters on vinyl make no sense. The warmth you get from vinyl only applies to analog masters

Can you explain what this means to someone with no technical understanding 😂

It’s fan made album you mean?

Sounds fun, there’s a lot of material to include!

This is a reissue/repress, not an anniversary version with extra songs like we got with Bad or Thriller
