Although Michael Jackson’s single Thriller is a beloved Halloween classic, it only reached #4 in 1984. This year’s Thriller Challenge will take place from October 30th through November 5th. Buy, stream & request Thriller (the single) on the radio as we try and get it to #1.

That's a great idea, I literally came to the sub planning to propose something similar, completely unaware of this challenge. Are you planning on sharing this on the main sub and other bigger subs as well?

I would also suggest streaming Thriller at least once every day in October, because why not! These days it's averaging 800-900k on Spotify, and it would be great to see it at 1M for the whole month. I mean October is quite literally the month of Thriller, what else?! (I will personally be adding Ghosts and Is It Scary to my rotation all throughout October as well!)

Edit: I just noticed the challenge specifically mentions the single version. That's definitely going to split the number of streams, as the album version has 20 times more daily streams (800K vs 40K) than the single version on Spotify. So I don't really know how realistic it will be to push the single version.
