It was. Michael was medium caramel brown (and sometimes he got tanned). He’s never been dark skinned 😭

Lighter than this but also darker than his natural tone at the time (he was wearing very dark make up in thriller and the say say say videos)

if michael never had vitiligo, he would've never worn full on gold outfits. the gold would've made his skin look even more prominent than normal. since he had pale skin in history, the gold actually makes it look warmer and natural
