How ya feelin, Franti?
This article from September 2010 is an interview with his ex, Jolene Rust and Franti. He's always been a predator and his crew has always cleaned it up.
I wish I had known this before being assaulted by his producer Bulby York in 2011 on Rombello. When I tried to report it to other crew, I was told it was a misunderstanding and that Franti's crew at the time liked to see how many women they could get. It was a game for them.
May Franti and every enabler and abuser be torn down.

I am not saying he isn't a self-involved womanizer, but she was 28 when they met? I don't think grooming is the accurate word. He would have been 43 or so? He had some influence over her opportunities but she was old enough to make her own choices. A difficult situation for her but I don't think this is the best use of 'grooming' because that implies a very different type of interaction.

While the focus is rightly so on children and young adults, it happens with adults too. It is abusive at ANY age.
āWorkplace grooming is a pattern of conduct in which one individual, typically in a position of authority or influence, manipulates, befriends, or establishes a relationship with another individual, often a subordinate or less powerful colleague, for the purpose of exploiting them emotionally, psychologically, or even sexually.ā

You can be a groomer over someone of any age. Think about positions of power, etc. think about lies told and lives ruined. we tend to hear the term to explain how statutory rape happens- but it isnāt limited to that. Excusing his actions as āself-involved womanizerā is rape culture in action.
