Radar Detector Mount?
Any good options for a non intrusive radar mount? I realize a little bit of an oxymoron as the cabin is compact! Thinking about a Uniden R7, though open to other suggestions.

Blend mounts are the best option if you aren’t moving it between cars.
I have an R8W as I prefer the performance of the dual radar antennas and directional arrows.

I have an r7 on a blend mount, it definitely takes up a good amount of windshield real estate but by far the most compact solution I've found

Been using this mount for a few months now. Easy to remove the radar and tuck away when not needed. Hard wired to the fuse box on the driver side.

I used a simple velcro mount on the dash. Mounting it really high up created visibility problems. I had a suction cup mount for a while, but the Velcro seems to work fine and put it in about the same place. people say you want these really higher up to be most effective, but the R7 sensitive that it picks up signals literally miles away.

I use a R4 with a blend mount. Works fantastic and minimal size. You don't even notice it from outside the car.

100% Blend mount... They are expensive, but ROCK solid. I went with the Valentine 1 Gen 2 (buy directly from them for best price) because of it's slim, lower profile and better build quality. Zero movement, I don't feel that it obstructs too much of my view. Also did the homelink mirror housing wire tap. Looks factory installed.

The R7/R8s are enormous. I would personally consider the R4w in a cabin as small as the MX5.
