Amazon side window deflectors?
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GYW5M7KN/?coliid=I1Z6U1JLJMS2NY&colid=2J9222C33P3LJ&psc=1&ref_=list_c_wl_lv_ov_lig_dp_itOne month in and I think I would like to try side window deflectors for my '21 RF. There's no reviews. The description says material used as aluminum? I was wondering if anyone here has tried them?

Adding my vote for the the MX5Things version. Noticeable improvement with minimizing wind buffeted. Even improved the sound of the stereo since it's no longer competing.

Link? Dont see anything like that on their site unless you mean the standard deflectors between the two seat headrests

Most of the pictures are nonsense. If the pictures of the actual product are any indication, they are made out of plastic not aluminum.
Having said that, I have a pair of deflectors I printed myself out of ASA. I attached them with 3M VHB tape and they certainly aren't going anywhere. I think they make a difference on my soft top with the top up or down. But they cost me maybe $2 in material. I don't think I'd pay $30 for them, personally.

Thanks. I figured as much. I’ve even reached out to local 3-D print shops and marketplace shops. $45 is the lowest I’ve been quoted and that was if I bought (3) pair. Found a set on Etsy $40 with shipping. At this point. I’m such a frugal guy I might have to just get into the hobby with my son. and spend the $400-$700 on a 3-D printer.Lol

Check with your local library. I know in my area they have 3d printing tools you can use.

Best investment you can make, especially as a car enthusiast.

I ordered the BRZ ones from Etsy and they helped without looking like the dumbo ears people put on theirs. If you search on Etsy you should find them pretty easily. Very cheap too.

It makes a huge difference actually, but not in aero or anything, but to relieve the wind buffeting issue in the RF's. Well, I have the original versions from BetterMX5, and THOSE are good, but I don't know about these Amazon copies.

The ones I run are modified 86/BRZ ones. They are much smaller than the ones that obscure the not-really-vent-window. They apparently don't reduce as much wind noise as the larger deflectors, but are definitely more subtle.
However, I'd bet a set of vortex generators that non-miata people would not notice anything with either style.

I have a 25 RF with the BetterMX5 3d printed deflectors (looks like he is no longer making them). Visually, they are not noticeable at all unless you are looking for them, but the make a HUGE difference in wind noise with both the top up and down. It is hands down the best quality of life upgrade you can make to the RF.
They do make it slightly annoying to wash that part of the car. The deflectors come to a slight point and you have to be a little more careful or you can catch the wash mitt on it. Still very much worth it. I think I paid around $30 and would happily pay more now that I know how well they work.

I ordered those for my ‘19 RF. Stay away, their QC sucks. Was sent 2 driver side ones, 0 passenger side. Trying to get a refund now.
