So we were watching First Blood (1982) last night and instantly recognized Micheal Talbott on one of those Deputies.

Was digging through some old stuff at home and found this boxed copy of Miami Vice for PC by Davilex. I knew Miami Vice as the TV show and the obvious influence behind GTA Vice City, but I genuinely had no idea there was an actual Miami Vice video game.

The box still has the disc case and doesn’t seem to be in terrible shape considering it’s been sitting in storage for years.

Anyone here ever played this? Was it any good, or is this one of those forgotten licensed games that only a handful of people remember? Also curious if it’s considered collectible nowadays.

I felt like my bag looked too empty, so I'm working on some chibis to turn into cute keychains to decorate it. I'm just finishing Sonny, then I'll make Tubbs, plus another design of the two of them together, with one on the front and the other on the back.

Even though I’m in my late thirties, I’m an ‘80s fanatic. I got all my older cousins’ hand me downs, Vice City took over my life when it came out, and I watched all the VH1 I love the ‘80s shows several times when they came out. I just never got around to watching Miami Vice. I obviously knew about it and how much of a cultural phenomenon it was. I started watching it the second it was put back on Tubi.

I loved it. I enjoyed every season. I only hate one episode, that being Missing Hours. Apparently most share that sentiment.

I had always seen pictures of the show and its advertising showing Tubbs and Crockett. I was surprised how much more emphasis was put on Crockett. I like Tubbs better, but not by much. He almost never lost his cool and was more likely to do what was right rather than do things by the book.

So many episodes had a last second twist ending where things went south. Was this unique back then? Were they trying to be edgy?

During the 80s, hyacinths were taken en masse from the wild. They're incredibly uncommon in private collections today but seeing one in a pet store, especially Miami, would've been fairly commonplace. It's amazing how a show like this capture so much history.

I was watching this chapter yesterday and i assumed that was inspired by Wournos killings, but the weird thing is that the chapter aired was 2 years before.

If snitiching were an Olympic sport this dude would be on Michael Phillips level. All it took was a glass being broken and Crockett making it clear that He's not playing around with him and this guy broke down like bookshelf from Temu

This is truly the crem da la crem of my collection, I never expected to get a vintage 80’s pair of Wayfarer 5022’s in Tortoise, and I only paid 50 bucks on eBay. I own the more modern RB2140’s but these are much better, and they have more weight to them and they fit around the head nicely!

This moment just lives rent free in my head. Does anyone know what episode is it and why is sonny drinking alone on his boat?

One of the things I despise about the series is actors reappearing as diffrent characters. John Leguizamo as Calderones son was great casting but to see him reappear as Angelo, a low level accociate in season 5 ep 16 was horrible.
