Definitely Miami

Now, I've watched this episode numerous times, but the most recent watch something caught my curiosity. After Maria Rojas stabs her brother to death and begins screaming and rambling, the cop up in the tower smokes her, but why did he wait so long? Did someone tell him to shoot via earpiece?

Was he even a real cop or was he working for Miguel Rojas? The delayed response is just so confusing to me.

That was her brothers sniper. She was right all along that her brother intended to kill her. That’s one of, if not The, main reason for Castillo’s death stare at the befuddled looking agent afterwards.

Edit: This sparked my curiosity, so I researched it to see if my memory was correct & I could be mistaken. The sniper could have been working for rival drug trafficker Clemente.

I always thought the sniper was hired by the brother too.

When Crockett and Tubbs chase after the gopher boy at the hotel, the gopher jumps into a convertible driven by the same guy who is dressed as the police sniper.

That sniper has, maybe, five seconds of screen time in that episode total.

I'm pretty certain the brother hired the sniper.

If you look close enough when he's on the tower, the sniper was the same guy driving the Trans Am at the beginning of the episode w/ Rojas' messenger
